Black Head

Blackheads, medically known as open comedones, are a very common skin condition where pores become clogged with a combination of sebum (an oily substance produced by the sebaceous glands) and dead skin cells. The clogged material oxidizes when exposed to air, turning the surface black, hence the name “blackhead”.
